Sit back, act natural, and let’s take some pictures
Forget about not knowing how to pose and feeling stiff in front of the camera. Imagine going on a walk with a friend, who just happens to have a camera with them. My process is free and flowy, and my only goal is to capture you and your true self. I often say that I'm a mix of a lifestyle and posed. A little bit candid and fun, with a little bit of traditional posing. Every client and situation is different, so I adapt when needed making my clients feel the most comfortable.
My approach
01.
Get in contact
Once you’ve made up your mind, complete the form, or get in contact with me and I will be getting back to you as soon as possible.
02.
Let's chat
So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a chat to discuss all the details of your session. We will discuss everything from Date & time, to location, as well as pricing.
03.
Scheduling
Once we have decided on all the details, the next step is to get you on my calendar. After signing your contract and paying your retainer fee you will be all set. I will follow up about a week prior to your session to confirm all the details.
04.
Delivery
After your session I will sometimes post a sneak peek or two during the editing process. Then after the editing process is complete, you will receive your edited pictures, as well as a print release in a digital download gallery sent via email.
Are retainer fees refundable?
Retainer fees are non refundable.
What is a retainer? Why am I being asked to pay one?
Because it benefits both you AND your photographer!
A retainer is a non-refundable payment made as part of a session's booking confirmation. Your photographer asks for this in exchange for them reserving their services for your specific date—meaning they're 100% yours! You have the peace of mind that they can't book anyone else.
But that also means the same on their end! If you reschedule or cancel your original session date, they lose out on business.
How long do your sessions last?
Most sessions take around 45 minutes. However, there are some exceptions. Extended family sessions can take longer depending on how many people are participating. I find these normally taking around an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Newborn sessions usually last around 2 hours.
How many pictures will I receive?
This can vary based on the type of session you select. Each mini session can vary on the amount based on how long the session lasts. Most regular sessions I guarantee 50+ images. However, if you have shot with me before you know that I always send all of the best images, and this usually results in many more images than just the guaranteed 50!
Are you available outside of Northeastern NC?
Yes-absolutely! I am willing to travel almost anywhere. Just keep in mind anywhere outside of a 30 mile travel radius will require a travel fee based on the mileage.
